If you're looking for anything remotely technical, this is not the place. I had heard so much hype about Kingdom trails and expected much more. Compared to Bromont (XC) or any hill on the west coast of Canada or the US, the trail rating at Kingdom trails is rediculously inflated. All trails on this hill are no more than green or perhaps a very light blue. There were a couple non-elevated skinnies that were perhaps a slightly darker blue. That's it.

What it did offer however was a good flowy fitness area with lots of trails. There were lots of short climbs and decents that were good for cardio training.

It's a family oriented place where you can take beginners to practice their skills.

Smooth, flown single track. Nothing at all technical, no huge climbs, just mile after mile of beautiful Vermont dirt. East Burke is a MTB town. Period. 153 inhabitants and it has a great bike shop and a number of places to eat and drink that will satisfy any palette. I'm Vegan and no trouble getting fed. This place is great for families. Tonnes of little kids out riding with mom and dad. Stayed at Burke Bike Barn. Can't say enough about the place. It's RIGHT on White School trail. Nice swimming holes in the river behind the bike shop, or go 30 minutes up the road to the beach at :are Willoughby. Book 3 days to see everything here.

This is a very easy, flow trail destination, with the majority of the trails on and around a mellow, forested ridge. Very easy to navigate, well-built, and the 15 dollar fee is more than acceptable. Also, nice little center with general store. I am giving it 4 stars, because while very nice, it is by far from a world-class location. Trails are very easy (if my wife can easily ride a double-black diamond on a rented cross-country bike, it is not really a double-black diamond), and while fun, for sure it is nothing spectacular. Everything is relative, so let's leave to 5-stars for truly epic trails / locations of the world (in my resume ones like colorado trail, finale ligure, St. Moritz / corviglia, etc.)

I rode this trail system for NEMBFest 2019 and I am very happy! There are trails here for every level and trails that will push your skills. I enjoyed every minute of riding (and some walking). The views are spectacular and the trails are all in great shape. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who likes to ride MTB

    Reviewing Black Bear:
    *****

To reach this trail one must climb a killer, 800 foot of elevation, double track but then the fun begins! Black Bear is a downhill flow trail with great berms, rollers and jumps. Weaving back and forth down the mountain back to the double track that leads back to the parking lot. It is definitely worth the climb!

What a great trail network! First off, this is not just a set of trails... it's a true MTB'ing experience. As noted in the previous review the small town of East Burke caters to mountain bikers and there is a great sense of MTB community, not unlike Pisgah, only more quaint. It's worth noting that there is a Welcome Center ($15/day pass required to ride). You basically can hit up the trails right from the town center. There is something for all skills levels. The trails are in great condition and they drain exceptionally well. Sidewinder is a must and probably the real signature trail with its roller coaster style design. Once you climb back hit up Bear Back or take Sidewinder back down again. Other must ride trails are the three "T" trails that all make the same descent from east to west (so you've got to climb back afterwards): Troll Stroll, Tody's Tour and Tap 'n Die (I would rate them in that order). The view from Heaven's Bench is worth the climb followed by a blast down Ridge through Rim. If you go off the main trail areas Coronary Bypass is worth the trip to the northwest trail area on Darling Mtn. And while it doesn't get a lot of traffic, Moose Alley (ridden east to west) will add a bit more of a technical challenge at speed. IMO, all rides should finish on Kitchel which offers some well designed berms and some opportunity for air. Overall the network is really all about flow as there are very few areas with any rock (Moose Alley had the most of the trails I hit). But there are lots of roots, top notch berms, tight turns, good change in elevation and the ability to carry a lot of speed. Definitely worth the trip!

Just spent 4 days running the trails with a friend. Some of the best riding we've ever done. The town of East Burke has really embraced this and it all has a great vibe. 100 miles of trails!!!! We got to most of it and loved the variety. Personal favourites were Sky Dive, Bear Back, Piggy Back and Sidewinder. Lots of good flow on descents and reasonable climbs back to the ridge top. Loved this place.

The most fun flow syle trais in the North East. Well mapped, well drained, No rocks, minimal roots, just plenty of fast fun flow trails. With a full time Trail building staff and budget these trails will continue to outperform.

Awesome trail system with some nice diversity. The town is really neat as well. I rode about 20 miles and my favorite trail was Troll Stroll which has some really nice berms and amazing flow. If you're staying multiple days I'd recommend The Village Inn as it has cool rooms, a creek in the back, a dedicated room for storing your bike, and the people are very nice. There's also a cafe across the street and an ice cream shop just the road toward the trails, which you can bike to from the Inn. The only downside here is you have to pay $15 a day, but that's probably because it's all private land. Still definitely worth it.

I would have to say this place is the best riding in the northeast if not nation wide. Family friendly and excellent maintenance. Every time you ride it's better then the first time.
