This week we’re playing a game of would-you-rather on the topic of technical trail features. Obviously not all rock gardens are created equally, and one person’s off-camber is another person’s bench cut. But all things being equal — and equally challenging — we want to know which one reliably sends chills down your spine.
Bonus question: Where is the gnarliest rock garden or off-camber trail you’ve found?
Sidehilling can include rock gardens that can be treacherous. Above Glenwood Canyon is a great example. Just one mistake and you will plunge 1,000-1,200′ to the Colorado river for an unintended swim. Windy Point is another.
My spine cringes at the thought of being slammed over the boulder fields these days.
The plus tire wearing Wildcat smooths it to a point but the meds smooth it all. No skimpy 2.6’s, genuine, bona fide 3.0’s for the real plus experience.
